Lightyear 0 is a new type of electric vehicle which is equipped with solar charging technology, hence placing a solar panel on its roof-top and on its front bonnet initiating new trends in the electric vehicle market in the world. GranStudio designed the prototype of this vehicle in Italy and the Solar Team Eindhoven designed the solar panel. The vehicle is itself manufacturing by Atlas Technologies.

The production of Lightyear 0 started in January 2022 by the company and the vehicles for a test drive are now ready in June 2022. This solar electric vehicle will be delivered to its customers in November 2022.
Solar Charging Capacity of Lightyear 0
The unique feature of Lightyear 0 has a high-quality solar panel on its roof-top and on the bonnet which makes it top of the line in its category. The solar panel on the roof-top starts from the windscreen and stretches long to its back bonnet. the daily charging capacity of this solar panel is 70 km and the annual yield is 11000 km.
Milage
The main feature of any electric vehicle is its mileage per charge. This car is equipped with a battery pack of 60 kWh which gives it a range of 560-625 km. The top speed of this car is 160 km/h and achieves 100 km/h in 10 seconds. Fast charging technology is available in this car and it gives a 520 km range in 1-hour fast charging.

It is a sedan-type hatchback five-seat car consisting of five doors. It has a solar panel on its roof-top for solar charging. It has a length of 5083mm, a width of 1972mm and a height is 1445mm. Its weight is 1575kg.
